Art Meets Science

The Art and the science of art, is inseparably connected. This is seen in the works of Albert Einstein, Richard Feynman, Dmitri Mendeleev and polymath, Leonardo of Da Vinci.

At Psychology Cares, we believe that life cannot always be fragmented into administrative or scientific streams of functional specializations. What we learn from Picasso and what we learn from Newton, is something significant about the reality of perceptual and material existence, both in terms of order and disorder.

Thinking Globally & Acting Locally

Because together we matter

Clinical & Research Director’s message

“Life is an opportunity. Sometimes with what can seem like insurmountable challenges. Our biggest asset is that of our mind, integrating experiences into realities that can turn adversity into unique possibilities for growth…

It is almost never easy, especially when we seek to recover from factors and experiences not always in our control. Together and through compassionate care, empirical creativity and scientific exploration we can face despair, distress and disease, and flourish against the odds.

This is our journey and in many respects the story of mankind. We are unified in more ways than we can completely understand. Through the trust and remarkable achievements of my patients I have learnt that clinical skills and scientific knowledge requires a dynamic and integrated approach to the art of understanding the mind and body. Life may be lived in moments, but clinical care and understanding ourselves cannot be fragmented.

It is the pursuit of excellence and integrated care that has given birth to Psychology Cares, because we believe that together we can matter.”
